RENTER QUALIFICATIONS

A valid driver’s license in the customer's own name must be presented at the time of pickup. The minimum age is 18 on most vehicles; please see special Vehicle Requirements. Renters under 25 may be subject to an additional fee. For the rental of trucks from 14 feet and up, we require a license category 6 and up from Puerto Rico.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS

Additional drivers must qualify with a valid driver’s license and a major credit card in their name. There may be charges for additional driver,s excluding the spouse.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Automatic Toll Prepayment Option (Unlimited Toll Road pass) is available starting from $5.95 per day for vehicles. For special vehicles/trucks, prices vary.  Teodoro Moscoso & DTL Dynamic Toll Lane – NOT INCLUDED

Location will hold the reservation for a maximum of 2 hours past the pickup time.

ONE WAY

One-way rentals between our locations are allowed with a Drop Off Charge. Please advise the rental counter at the time of rental. This charge varies by season, starting at $30 up to $75.

Fees are taxable.

COVERAGES

Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) coverage is optional only when presenting a major credit card that extends protection to Puerto Rico, or the renter presents evidence of personal insurance coverage at the rental counter. Personal insurance must be accompanied by a letter stating that the customer’s insurance policy will cover the rental car or truck in Puerto Rico and your vehicle cannot be less than 5 years old. All credit card coverage and insurance are subject to verification and acceptance at the rental counter. If neither stipulation is met, the customer will be required to purchase LDW at a rate of $16.95 – $21.95 USD per day with deductibles up to $1,000.00. ***Luxury/Trucks Vehicles LFAR/PFAR/PCAR – LDW cost is $29.95 per day with a deductible of $1,000.00. Commercial/Cargo/Pick-up or similar – LDW cost is $16.95 per day with deductibles up to $1,000.00. For repair estimates totaling less than the deductible, the difference will be credited to the customer. Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) is available at a cost of $10.95 per day. PAC Personal Accident Coverage $10.00 per day***LDW/SLI IS MANDATORY ON LFAR/PFAR/PCAR***

TRUCK RENTAL: THE CARGO COMPARTMENT IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE LDW COVERAGE. THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FULL VALUE OF THE COMPARTMENT IN CASE OF DAMAGES, ACCIDENT, OR LOSS, WHETHER AT FAULT OR NOT, COVERAGE EXTENDS ONLY TO THE TRUCK.

DRIVING RESTRICTIONS

Driving is restricted to the Main Island of Puerto Rico.

FINANCIAL POLICY

All renters must provide a major Credit/Debit card to pay for the estimated rental charges plus the deposit amount as follows: ECAR, CCAR, ICAR, SCAR, and FCAR – $200.00. Midsize SUV, MVAR & Cargo Van Pick-Up – $500.00, 15PAX & BOX/CARGO TRUCK $700.00 – $1,000.00. This location accepts the following cards: American Express, Carte Blanche, Diners Club, Discover Card, Mastercard, and Visa. For customers providing personal Insurance; the deposit amount will be equal to the amount of the customer's policy deductibles, a minimum deposit of $200.00 will apply. For customers opting to use the Insurance coverage provided by their Credit Card; a minimum deposit of $500.00 will apply. These funds will not be available for immediate use and may take up to 30 days to be released depending on your bank.

TAXES AND FEES

THE TOTAL PRICE INCLUDES ALL MANDATORY TAXES AND FEES.

PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS

For customer convenience, if Easeway’s shuttle bus is not seen at the pickup area, please proceed to take a shuttle bus with a Sun on it or take a Taxicab to our location outside the airport. Pickup Information: Shuttle service available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Shuttle pickup outside baggage claims terminal 2^nd sidewalk, distance to vehicle location is 2 miles, Shuttle runs constantly. There is no charge for shuttle service.

REFUELING POLICY

Vehicles rented with a full tank of fuel must be returned full to avoid a locally determined refueling charge.

RESERVATION AND RENTAL ADJUSTMENTS

Any changes to the reservation or rental may result in a change of rate or additional fees.

SPECIALTY VEHICLES

SPECIALTY VEHICLES MAY TAKE UP TO 48 HOURS TO CONFIRM OR DENY(LFAR/PFAR).

The customer must be 30 years of age or older to rent the convertible (Star),

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS – FULL-SIZE

Customer must be 25 years of age or older to rent the full-size (Fcar, Fdar).

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS – FULL SIZE SUV

The customer must be 25 years of age or older to rent the full-size SUV (Ffar),

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS – LUXURY SUV

Customers must be 25 years of age or older to rent a Luxury SUV (LFAR) Vehicle is a Special Request and may take Up to 72HRS, to Confirm or Deny.

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS – MIDSIZE

Customers must be 25 years of age or older to rent the midsize (Icar, Idar).

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS – MIDSIZE SUV

Customers must be 25 years of age or older to rent the midsize suv (Ifar),

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS – MINIVAN

Customers must be 25 years of age or older to rent the Minivan (MVAR).

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS – PFAR

Customer must be 24 years of age or older to rent PREMIUM SUV(PFAR)

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS – STANDARD

Customers must be 25 years of age or older to rent the standard (Scar, Sdar).

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS – STANDARD SUV

Customer must be 25 years of age or older to rent the standard suv (Sfar),

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS – TRUCKS

Customer must be 25 years of age or older to rent the truck (Fpar).
